Susan Boyle has not won Britains got talent.

Susan Boyle last night sensationally lost the final of the show that made her – Britain’s Got Talent.

All this while I was watching the Bulls rip the Chiefs apart in the Super 14 Final.

Despite an assured reprise of “I Dreamed a Dream”, the song that made her a YouTube phenomenon, she was defeated by the dance troupe Diversity, and so will not get to sing for the Queen, after all. The 10-strong troupe from Essex stood open-mouthed with disbelief as they realised they would leave with a £100,000 cheque and a booking at the Royal Variety Performance.

“The best people won”, she said, before wishing them “all the best”.

Eggs chickens hatched etc. Something like that.

So everyone has been silent on Susan Boyle lately, but not anymore!

Fresh from her makeover [here], she got to grips (a little shakily) with her Semi Final performance in Britains Got Talent and ended it off with gusto.

Barely 5 minutes after she was on telly in the UK for the semi finals of Britains got Talent, this vid was on youtube…

..and of course twitter went apeshit and she was trending the top of the list in like 3 seconds. Are we gonna see her become a full on star or will she be the Twitter / Social Media superstar?

I guess only time will tell. It’s a pity the clip didn’t show the judges comments but she went through so more Susan Boyle Mania awaits in the future!

I can only imagine how our Local South Africas Got Talent show will be later this year. More here and here on that!

Ok so South Africa is ‘Getting Talent’

So not only do we have to be content with the knobs on Idols [here], we now also have to follow every move Simon Cowell ever made and get SA’s Got Talent. Are we going to find our own Internet phenomenon like Susan Boyle? Only time will tell.

I’m guessing this is going to be a gumboot dancing, pantsula, boereorkes cheesefest.

The show will premiere on August 13 (not April 1 as it probably should)

SA’s Got Talent calls for “any age, any act” (from singers, dancers and comedians to variety acts, animal trainers and acrobats) to compete for the top prize of R250 000, as well as the opportunity to perform at the new President’s Command Performance later this year. The WHAT???!!!

Maybe JZ should get in on the act, and that dude who acted in the Latest Nandos Election advert, the identity protected fella (we all know who you are)[here]. Hell maybe they should try find space for the Intellectually Challenged One [here], she of the ‘offended nature’.

“The real appeal of SA’s Got Talent is that there are no restrictions on who can enter and what your talent has to be. Anything goes,” said Nivasha Naidoo, SABC2′s marketing manager.

The Got Talent format is apparently the most successful international talent show ever created.

Jerry Springer, The Hoff and Sharon Osbourne (guest starring Simon Cowell) judge the USA version.

Piers Morgan, The Talented Amanda Holden [here] and Simon himself (oh and lately that ever delightful Kelly Brook) judge the UK version.

“We will be appointing a host as well as a panel of judges for our series, and will be making announcements in this regard soon,” added Naidoo.

The entry process for SA’s Got Talent works as follows:

# Applicants can register to attend an audition by calling 083 913 1120 and following the voice prompts.

# Applicants may also register by sending an email to talent@rapidblue.com.

# Registering to audition secures a place at the auditions. Auditions will take place in Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Durban and Joburg.

Contestants who have registered will be contacted with a confirmation of the date, time and venue for their audition. Contestants who supply an email address or fax number will be sent the full entry form, which they can complete prior to their audition to save time on the day. Registration for national auditions is currently open.

So who would our judges be? PRAY TO GOD NO PLEASE NOT RANDALL OR MARA.

I’ll vote for DJ FRESH, GARETH CLIFF and some hot totty like Lee-Ann Liebenberg.

The latest ‘celeb’ to hit the storyline of South Park is Susan Boyle. If you’re mentioned on South Park you have made it.

While we are at it, did I mention I rather like Amanda Holden?

In a shameless publicity stunt Piers Morgan has offered to kiss Susan Boyle.

If you’ve been under a rock, Susan Boyle is the latest Internet superstar. This is her. She sings like an absolute gem. I posted a video of her singing here, along with Amanda Holden, the woman of joy.

There was something about her...

So Piers wants to kiss her. That’s all good and well mate but really, IF you actually went through with this and the rather frumpy looking ‘young lady’ actually made a move on you, would you go through with it?

He says this:

“I’ve decided to extend an invitation to Susan to take her out for a meal – a very romantic restaurant, I think, with some roses, some fine wine, some glamorous waiters, and to offer her the chance to break her kissing duck with these little things.

“So Susan, if you’re watching, I’m available,”

After a little more digging I found that SHE had made the first move the little minx, Piers himself reports from his website that she ‘put herself out there’.

Piers wrote: “Susan Boyle, a spinster who has never been kissed, has named me as the man she wants to end this unfortunate situation with. `Piers is gorgeous,’ she cooed, `I remember when he first came on America’s Got Talent and I thinking, `He looks really nice, I wonder who he is?

“I was too embarrassed to tell him how I felt when I was at my audition but I had my hair curled especially for the show.

The former newspaper editor confessed that he was “genuinely flattered” by Susan’s comments. ummm Ja sure you were mate. It seems just mentioning Susan Boyle nowadays is good for business. Susan Boyle. Not to be confused with Susan Boyle the artist, who is probably loving the spin off business she is getting. Susan Boyle.

So everyone is talking about Susan Boyle, the latest super talent voice on Britains got talent. I have to admit she sings really well and I got a gooseflesh moment when she started. It was total justice to see how shocked everyone was to see how awesome she is. Respect Susan!

Total much more respect to Amanda Holden, I love that chick. She can come visit ANYTIME! She is so cool, she says the ‘P’ word, at 4.06 naughty. She is some real hot totty. When they say Britains got talent theyre actually talking about her.

My fondest memories of living in England were of the English girls, I have a real soft spot for them, Amanda is the perfect example, RESPECT.

Now I know she is married, but she did have an affair once, so I’m still in with a chance.
