West Coast Boardriders Event Number 1 On The Way

Everyone knows I punt the West Coast lifestyle and I love this part of the world. I also have a few favourite places I go to, such as Doodles Beachfront bar and restaurant, so seeing this event is right up my ally.

I also love the whole let’s keep this area beautiful vibe and beach cleanups and that kind of thing are defininately my thing! So check this first event for 2011, make sure you get down there and support these guys!

FoundedĀ  in March 2011 in Big Bay, West Coast Boardriders is a non profit orginization with the intention to develop and grow surfing as a sport on the West Coast of Cape Town.

Membership Fees for 2011 (From 1 March 2011 to 28 February 2012)

Full Member. R 300.00 (Free T-shirt & entry to all 6 club events . Receive notices and news pertaining to WCB and social events. Closed Championships fee additional R50)

Social Member. R 100,00 (Free T-shirt. Receive notices and news pertaining to WCB and social events)

General information:
There are six club events and one club championship scheduled for the year, along with various other interclub challenges. The club will also host weekly social evenings with movie screenings, fundraisers, product launches and guest speakers. All club members also have a responsibility with any enviromental issues that might come up around our beaches (our playgrounds), for example beach cleanups.
