Taste Of Cape Town – The Review

JoeSocial found himself on a farm far far away this weekend and I decided to tag along with our infamous TwinMassProducerAmy Wineglass and of course Amy’s surfer boyfriend and her mother,  to the culinary event of the year.

I put on  the tightest jeans I could find (they don’t call me Asstastic for nothing) and headed to the Taste of Cape Town.  Armed with our  crowns and our wine glasses  we joined the masses for a variety of wines, ports and champagnes and the most delicious food  that crowns can buy.

We got “delayed” at the Jagermeister bus truck and had a few too many shots of what I call bad medicine before heading off to the whiskey brandy tent for some brandy cocktails and some kiff jive music.

We  had too much wine, way too much food (from such lovely restaurants as Signal from the Cape Grace Hotel, The Winery Road Restaurant and many many many more) before I had to be carried back to the car. It’s not what you think, my feet were really sore. I promise.

All in all we got great value for money, superb wine, excellent food and entertainment. If you missed it this time ’round be sure to catch the Taste festival again next year. You won’t regret it.
