This one is naturally going viral and why not. South African advertising is always right up there. Wimpy recently did this little bit extra for blind people in SA, and now all of us sighted people get to see the ad and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Ok so Nandos advertising rocks. This one is a killer, pardon the pun. With Bob Mugabe being the last man standing, this is a poignant poke at political posterity.

So Vodacom has finally finished telling us they are red. Thank God!

I was seeing red there for a minute.

They have come out with a new ‘post Vodacom is Red’ advert and it isn’t too bad.

It’s got a catchy tune with lots of name dropping in a rather clever way. This might wipe the memories of the red campaign away.

This is excellent, this oke who looks like Harry is the party starter!

Ahh my favourite. Nandos loves bringing some spice to things and this latest little chirp of theirs is no excpetion. Seeing as the whole country now knows that Vodacom is now RED and that Cell C poked some fun at that, Nandos thought it would add some sauce to things and remind us that MTN is Yellow.

I think they have captured the mood of the country when they say we know the colours now can we move on please?

Seeing as it’s National Cleavage day today I thought this video of Wonderbra installing trampolines in their fitting booths is particularly pertinent.

It’s a campaign in support of their Perfect Strapless Bras. Looks like a bunch of chicks acting like kids to me.
No harm there I guess!

Aaah I love Cell C Adverts. They’re not quite up there with the Nandos ones but theyre pretty good nonetheless.

As you’re ALL aware, Vodacom is now red. Well they’re also seeing red at Cell C’s take on this corporate rebranding and have reported the latest Cell C Advert to the Advertising Standards Authority.

I must admit it has been irritating the living shit out of me all week. Well I was so happy to see the rest of the ‘red’ companies starting to take a swipe at this. Virgin Active first.

Savanna Dry is now also taking a dig at Graeme Smith in the same manner Nandos did with regards to his recent performances.

Nice one Savanna, at least someone cares. This has got to do with the fact that he has announced his engagement to Morgan Deane, an Irish singer.

You know I love my Nandos right? Yes I also love my Nandos adverts. I write about them all the time.

Well in the wake of yet another disastrous World Cup Performance by the Chokeas Proteas, Nandos has sent out an Olive branch to old Grame Smith and offered him a job.

I know this is an old one but it’s pretty good.

You’ve probably seen it before, I certainly have but this cracks me up everytime. Stand back Jack Parow… Roman’s Pizza is taking over!

I did a bit of research on vibrators. Every girl should have one and I wanted to see what is new on the market. So I came ( no pun intended)  across this advert and I think it’s friggin hilarious.

According to this advert you can apply it to any part of your body for ” a soothing , pleasurable and pulsating relaxation” . As you can see it’s especially made for women for complexion care, skin toning, back ache, jittery nerves and muscle spasms, oh yes and to help relieve tension.

I’m not so sure about all the other things but I do believe the bit about relieving tension and to be quite honest with you, this thing ‘aint going anywhere but my hoo-hoo and I certainly won’t be rubbing it on my feet ( see demonstration up there )  …

…then you certainly never will. Yes ladies….these are the guys we love. I can picture you rolling your eyes thinking “typical”

They certainly spoil those romantic moments, but one thing is for sure, they love their beer.

So everyone is now talking about the upcoming wedding of William the future king dude versus Kate Middleton.  Not to be outdone, Kulula.com have put there five cents in (or is it more like 5 million cents?) by saying they will be sending a lobola over to the UK in the form of cattle for the royal wedding. Nandos are at it again, this time picking on Paris hilton for her recent escapades smoking weed as I posted here

Never one to miss out on such an opportunity, they had a great dig at her with their latest advert.

Love what they did there.

Here it is finally, the reworked version of the Nandos Julis Malema advert. Of course we all know who it is about. Love the way they blurred out the Nandos logo too…

I don’t know how to replicate it, but today I saw a rather interesting advert on the www.iol.co.za website.

Basically it freezes your screen, your cursor won’t work and it moves across the screen under its own steam, then the screen greys out, before a message in the middle of the screen saying something like…

“Now you know how it felt for millions of South Africans before April 27th 1994, to have had the freedom of choice dictated to them. Happy Freedom day”

I like it, very nifty, and kudos to the creative team.

I must admit I’m a huge Nandos fan. I’m not as huge a fan of their prices, but in terms of the food on offer I could have a Nandos next door and it would rock. I also genarally like their advertising, and this last weeks Julius advert is no exception.

While I was looking around for a few more Nandos adverts, I came across a few others that I thought I would share. Enjoy!

This next one is full of iodols wannabees and never was’s. I think the SA version of idols has become a joke. Maybe this years Idols can do a nandos ad when theyre done, they’ll probably get more airplay.
