It was bound to happen.

As it is, it happened right here in Cape Town, Jeb Corliss of Grinding the Crack fame, got too close to the mountain and hit it. Lucky for him he only has a broken leg.

This one is naturally going viral and why not. South African advertising is always right up there. Wimpy recently did this little bit extra for blind people in SA, and now all of us sighted people get to see the ad and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Ok so Nandos advertising rocks. This one is a killer, pardon the pun. With Bob Mugabe being the last man standing, this is a poignant poke at political posterity.

Seeing as speech and the freedom thereof is pretty pertinent right now in SA, I thought this little gem might interest you folks. Thanks to the people at Factspy.net

Every now and again you come across a mind blowing bit of video done by a mate of a mate. I came across this masterpiece done by Harold Durnez recently which shows just how cool it is to live in Cape Town. In a race between bike, bus and car, the Bicycling team put the new 23km cycle path in Cape Town to the test. And the winner is…

Its being reported that Colonel Gaddafi’s resistance ended today as he was killed during the taking of Sirte.

An official said the ousted Libya dictator had been shot in the legs during his capture, but he had also been hit in the head during the firefight.

Virgin Galactic has unveiled the Spaceport America, and its a gem!

“While there is still work to be done in driving to completion of the vehicle development program,” Virgin Galactic president and CEO George Whitesides said at the ceremony, “the dedication event is an opportunity for us to recognize all the people in New Mexico and around the world who have worked so hard to turn a patch of ranch land into the world’s first commercial spaceport.”

I came across was sent this Afrikaans version of the Haka by one of the Biltong Boys, Nino, with decidedly sexual undertones that definitely rates as one of the best mock Hakas Ive seen out there. Hilarious.

Thats right, and it’s in aid of promoting the latest Loeries, nice one Riaan.
